Welcome to Gotland

Gotland (Gutland in their local dialect) is a Swedish island in the the Baltic Sea, about 90km from the Swedish mainland. Together with the surrounding islands Fårö, Karlsöarna, Gotska Sandön, Östergarnsholm they together are known as Gotland. Gotland is it's own county (Gotlands län), and also it's own commune (Gotlands kommun) and own see (Visby stift).

During the summer Gotland is visited by many turists. Visby is a big attraction with it's worldheritage, visby is also the only city on the island.
